Thousands cheer as the AYOR studios comes to the US. Oh all right, maybe not "thousands," but you will want to know that the European product will now be available here, thanks to a new distribution deal with Pacific Sun. Robert Boggs started up the studio six-or-so years ago, concentrating on "the way male friendship can grow into sexual desire." Boggs takes his visions from such luminaries as William Higgins and George Duroy, and his films are half adult movie, half documentary, and his models, it says here, "combine the qualities of angels and gods." The first release from Pacific Sun will be AYOR's "City Life 1," and, by the way, AYOR stands for "At Your Own Risk." Pacific Sun will also be distributing older AYOR titles, and you can check out this first one now at the Pacific Sun site.
If you're in the New England area, look for the print edition of these ramblings in the Rainbow Times' "NightTimez" section, now available at select locations throughout the area, and online as well.
Look for updates and any new items of interest on the front page, and I'm still doing the Twitter thing occasionally. You can find me at vidioview@gmail.com , and I shall leave you at this point Elizabeth.
Yet another classic oldie has been released by Bijou Video. "A Night At The Adonis" takes us to the infamous Adonis Theatre in NYC back in the 70's, when men were men, particularly in the balcony and men's rooms of movie palaces in the Big Apple. This new DVD edition has been "tweaked and enhanced," so that you can see all the glory that was such icons as Jack Wrangler, Roger, Mandingo and Big Bill Eld. The Hand-In-Hand film is available now at the Bijou website.
Hunks Damien Crosse and Francesco D'Macho have released, tho briefly, a new DVD called "Stag Reel," from their already-hot new company Stag Homme Studios. The guys directed it themselves, and they are so thrilled with it, they're offering a money-back guarantee on every movie sold. Yup, a full refund. Such a deal. Raging Stallion is releasing with a limited-edition DVD single-run pressing, so when supplies run out, this title will no longer be available in the DVD format (but most likely will remain in the online archives). "Stag Reel" is available now at the Raging Stallion site.
Talent Agent Dak King at Hot Rods Casting sent one of his email blasts the other day, promoting a couple of guys who haven't been around the biz for awhile (he also sent some who are still quite active, like Tristan Jaxx (left), but apparently are looking for more...ahem, exposure. One of them is Brad Benton, who hasn't made a porn film for a few years, but has done some mainstream performing. Also mentioned by Dak is Troy Michaels, not as well known, perhaps, as Brad, but Troy did several movies for the biggies, including Rascal, Big Blue, and the late Sports'N Recreation company, who took this photo of the blond bombshell.
A couple of older Chi Chi LaRue goodies are being released this month. First up is Rascal's "Kyle Kennedy Superstar," starring...yeah, you guessed it, along with Danny Hunter, Jason Sizemore, Carlo Cox and...look, it's Chris Steele! Next, they offer Matt Bradshaw and his "Perfect Gift," and that it is, with David Thompson, Mason Walker, Sam Crockett and Tyson Cane. Also out now is All World's "Cum Leche," from director Ron Rico, and featuring dark-skinned beauties with uncut meat, like Carlito, Ikon, Iraq, and several others, most of whom have no surname. But do we really care. All are available at the Channel 1 site now.
Dominic Ford, always in the forefront of new technology, has announced that his 3D product will soon be available for the new iPad device (I'm still trying to figure out the iPhone, so don't ask me for technical details). The HD movies will the first 3D footage for the iPad, and Dominic says that now his customers can enjoy their fine movies on a bigger screen than the iPhone or iPod. The first movie to be released for the iPad will feature Next Door Male exclusive Parker London. Oh - and if you got some 3D glasses from Target recently to watch the Michael Jackson tribute on the Grammys, they (and all other 3D glasses) work just fine on his site (if you didn't, and just watched the blurry Jackson, as did I), glasses are free with membership to the DominicFord.com site.
Hard to believe that Michael Lucas is up to #32 in his "Auditions" series, this new one being "International Auditions." Michael Lucas once again does his best Baba Walters imitation, relaxing the guys from around the planet with inane questions, leading into five hot sex scenes, which is really what we want to see. Included in this latest family fare are beauties Naor Tal, Jay Roberts, Max Schutler (there has to be some award somewhere for the number of films this guy shows up in), Sebastian Ritz and Baptiste Bremont (right). Baptiste is a newbie (to me, anyway), and even Michael is impressed with his "monstrous cock that is to die for." The over-three hour "Audtion" is pre-ordering now at the Lucas site.

Jason Sechrest is working his darling tush off (well, according to Brandon Baker, anyway...) promoting his latest newbie and DV8 Casting member. Brandon Wilde (not to be, and never will be, confused with the late actor of the same sort-of-name) arrived for his big debut in LA last week, and shot his first XXX scene for Suite 703 with Trevor Knight. Talk about being "broken in." He also did a solo and duo scene for Cruiser Boys, and, if you're reading this in a timely manner, he will be seen at the XBIZ Awards this Wednesday night, and at the after-party (coincidentally, I'm sure, hosted by Jason and Chi Chi) at Here Lounge's Garage from 10PM-2AM. A full week of the lovely lad.

You of course remember Michael Verdugo, the gay ex-cop who became a contestant on "Design Star?" You may remember him as Jeremy Weiss (or something like that), all tied up and ready for action in Tom "Ropes" McGurk's "Rope Ritual" for Grapik Arts Studio back in '96 (and I still find it difficult to use the word "action" when describing a McGurk film, but I digress). Anyway, Verdugo (then and now, to your left) was dismissed from the Hollywood FL police department a couple of years ago. Now, his attorney is filing a civil suit against the constabulary, claiming wrongful termination and discrimination. Mr. Verdugo has been quiet about the whole thing, but now has gone public with his grievances, and I say, good for him. "The amont of positive feedback I'm getting is incredible," he said, as he is "inspired to participate in the fight for fair and equal rights." The film, by the way, has apparently been pulled from the McGurk catalog, and was last released as part of a "Best Of..." series.

Benjamin Bradley is back, and COLT's got him in the new "Lotus." Bradley gives us an insight into want it's like to be a porn star, and what life is like on the Buckshot set. The informative piece can be viewed at the COLT website and, yes, he is still quite lovely, as is Brian Hansen, his scene partner in the new Buckshot goodie. Also appearing are Lucky Daniels, Ricky Martinez, Dayton O'Connor, Jesse Swift, and Brian Hansen again (not that we're complaining) with John Magnum. Check it out on the COLT site now.
