Because there can never be enough drama, the Twitter/blog communities are just buzzing away about the list of "40 Amazing Porn Stars" drawn up by Cybersocket magazine recently. The alphabetical list includes pretty much who'd you expect, from current hotties Jonathan Agassi, Drew Cutler and Parker Landon, to some newbies (the Peters Twins...duh), and the "regulars" Brent Corrigan, Owen Hawk, Johnny Hazzard and Wolf Hudson (not that there's anything "regular" about any of them).  However, seems the list omitted any black performers. No Diesel, no Diaz, none of the Pitbull or Flava gang...I could go on (and usually do).  The comments have run amock on the Cybersocket site (there are some claims the magazine has "censored" some of the comments), and there are a plethora of unedited comments to agree with (in most cases) on JC Adams' GayPornTimes, and black performer Angel Cruz (left, who says he would like to be "the Obama of gay porn" ) has his own blog-comments worthy of reading.
It was a double-shock to learn of the passing of two young porn performers. Linkin Kurtis (right), who worked for Hyde Park Productions, passed away at his home in Dickinson, North Dakota July 16th. The announcement was made by Hyde Park's Doug Knight. Linkin was 24 years old; he had appeared in two productions for HydePark, "Twinks at Play 2" and "Twink Playmates."  No cause of death has been made available.
One of the great things about a new Lucas movie release are the fine pics you get of his new models. "Passions," now being shipped, is "an exploration of man's desire to share sexual bliss with his closest partners."  Yeah, whatever. But hey, look who's in it. Dean Monroe, Rafael Alencar, Rafael Carreras, Junior Sellano and that Lucas guy. Making their Lucas debuts are Harry Louis (right, and where has HE been hiding), Rio Silver, Dean Monroe (didn't I just say that...well, worth mentioning twice), and Joseph Mercier. The DVD also includes, among other things, a bonus scene from "Fire Island Cruising 3."  Scenes from "Passion" will be available throughout the month for your dining and dancing pleasure online at the Lucas Entertainment site.
JetSetMen's current super-star material Josh Griffin had good ol' Rob Romoni announce his retirement from the industry. And just in time for the release of his "Locker Room Spy Guy" movie mentioned here previously. Seems the hunky guy wants to...ahem... "...focus my efforts onto my fiance (Randy Blue model Jordan Santelli, to your left) and my full time job."  Well, were it me, I would consider Santelli to be a full time job, but I digress. Romoni did a "sit-down" with Josh, who told Rob it was "...the me to wave to the crowd and take my final bow as the curtain drops."  Sounds like he's been watching "All About Eve" too many times. Josh, who has appeared in several JetSetMen films, surprised Rob
enough so that he blogged, "I was so shocked I literally shit cream corn." How vivid. Rob is JetSet's Director of Casting and Marketing, and is, in case you didn't know, one of the world's great Twitterers.
Jason Sechrest revealed that performer Shane Risk committed suicide. Risk was a Sechrest discovery, and was signed to Sechrest's DV8 Casting.  He appeared in Chi Chi's "Taken: To The Lowest Level" last year. He has disappeared from the porn business to pursue a career in music. Risk had hung himself in his West Hollywood apartment. Our sympathies to both of their families.
